OMG, you guys! We can't officially announce it yet, but here's a hint: you can join us this summer at Harvard Law with Elle and Bruiser and that UPS guy in a show that will tickle you Pink! The Journeyman Company will perform Bernstein & Sondheim's (et al) "Candide" this summer in a unique setting on the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts campus. Advanced performers ages 14 - 21 are encouraged to audition. Audition dates will be announced on Feb. 15.
The Journeymen rehearse June 18 - July 18; performances July 19 - 22.
Master Class: March 17 and 18
Eugenie's work has been seen across the nation, including The Public Theater and Playwrights Horizons (NYC), East West Players (LA), the Magic Theatre (SF) and Houston Grand Opera. The Magic Theater and Houston Grand Opera have commissioned work from her. Eugenie is a published playwright in residence at New Dramatists and The Cutting Ball Theater, and has also completed residencies at Sundance and Hedgebrook. She has been awarded almost a dozen grants and fellowships in her career.
Previous Master Class instructors have included Tony Award winning composer/lyricist Jason Robert Brown, Obie winner and Broadway leading man, Martin Moran ("Spamalot","How to Succeed","Big River", "Wicked" and many others), acclaimed singer Wesla Whitfield and Leslie Martinson, nationally recognized casting director and award-winning director.
